Membership and Certificates

It is highly important for us that our products are of great quality and environmentally friendly. We have acquired certificates to ensure internationally recognized standards are being followed.

palmatin-ETA

We are glad to announce that from 06.02.2019 Palmatin has been issued an European Technical Assessment (ETA) for Timber frame and machined log house building kits.

Our ETA number is ETA-17/0532

This means that our construction systems have been approved by European Organisation for Technical Assessment (EOTA®) (www.eota.eu) using the scientific and technological expertise of its Members.

Palmatin_EN14080
Our Glued laminated timber materials are certified in appliance with EN 14080:2013 and have undergone third party certification.

This means our material handling has passed the certification and as a result we have the right to sell Palmatin’s CE-labelled glued laminated timber with following strength class: GL24h, GL28h, GL32h.

Palmatin Ltd. holds the CE certification for glued laminated timber since 21st of December 2017.

Finger-jointed-timber

Our Finger Jointed Timber materials are certified in appliance with EN 15497:2014 and have undergone third party certification.

This means our material handling has passed the certification and as a result we have the right to sell Palmatin’s CE-labelled materials.

Palmatin Ltd. holds the CE certification for finger jointed timber since 20th of June 2017.

Strength-Graded-Structural-Timber

We use Strength Graded Structural Timber certified materials in our products and have undergone third party certification.

This means our material handling has passed the certification and as a result we have the right to sell Palmatin’s CE-labelled materials.

Palmatin Ltd. holds the CE certification for strength graded structural timber since 20th of April 2017.

Powered by Green and green thinking. Powered by Green is a 100% renewable energy source covered by official certificate of origin. It goes without saying that nowadays environmental protection is more important than ever before and the preservation of the existing environment requires a lot of work. We use electricity from both Estonian and European certified renewable energy producers – 100% of electricity produced from renewable sources.

FSC2017

We use FSC ® (C-108038)  certified materials in our products and have undergone FSC ® certification. This means our material handling has passed the certification and as a result we have the right to sell Palmatin’s FSC ®-labelled materials.

FSC ® certification guarantees that new trees are planted to replace the harvested trees. FSC ® leaves our future generations the opportunity to use the forest-related benefits.

The FSC ® label ensures that the forest products used are from responsibly harvested and verified sources. You can read more about FSC®  and its mission at www.fsc.org.

Palmatin Ltd. holds the FSC ® certificate since 6 October 2011.

ISO 9001:2008 is a set of requirements for a business whose goal is to meet the needs and expectations of customers by efficient process management.

This quality management certificate is given to an audited system that meets the necessary requirements.

Palmatin Ltd. holds the ISO 9001:2008 certificate since 13 October 2011.

Palmatin-houses-certification

This certificate gives assurance to the customer when choosing a professional log house manufacturer. The process of developing such standards was initiated by the Estonian Woodhouse Association in order to create a common guideline for manufacturers, by which the log houses are produced.

Estonian Woodhouse Association standards have been prepared in co-operation with the Association, the companies belonging to the Association, Estonian University of Life Sciences and Tallinn University of Technology.
