Palmatin Ltd is a family business, 100% based on Estonian private capital. Palmatin has been active in log house designing, manufacturing and building since 1995.

The company’s management contributes to the education of future woodhouse manufacturers and builders. (By giving lectures and taking part in the examinations)

The sales team is experienced and multilingual – they are fluent in English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Italian and Russian.

Palmatin has professional manufacturing, engineering and budgeting teams, who have years of experience in their fields.

We offer 34 different log profiles and 4 types of connections (cross corner, city corner, dovetail joint, double cross corner)

For complex roof structures, the first floor walls can be made as “Pre-Cut” wooden frame walls.

In addition to “Pre-cut” wooden frame walls, we also make houses based on the “Post&Beam” technology.

Palmatin’s goal is to make the client’s life as easy as possible by offering a full service for creating a home – planning, designing, engineering, manufacturing, transportation and assembly.

All wooden materials used in Palmatin’s log houses are manufactured at our factory, which allows us to guarantee a steady high quality. Using modern CNC automatic production lines allows us to offer solutions to many complex connections.

We use CAD programmes to engineer our log houses.

The manufacturing process is in line with ISO 9001:2008 management system, resulting in a better price-quality ratio.

We always meet agreed deadlines, which is very important for your further planning.

We can guarantee punctual delivery thanks to efficient CNC automatic production lines and smooth production management.

In cooperation with Tallinn University of Technology we have created a special computer program for calculating the cost of log houses in the early price enquiry stage.

With this budgeting program and experienced cost accountants, an accurate cost-based price offer is guaranteed.

During Palmatin’s 17 years in the log house market, we have sold over 1200 log houses, mostly to Europe, but also to more far-away locations.

It is highly important for us that our products are of great quality and environmentally friendly. We have acquired certificates to ensure internationally recognized standards are being followed.

We use FSC certified materials in our products and have undergone FSC certification. This means our material handling has passed the certification and as a result we have the right to sell Palmatin’s FSC-labelled materials.

FSC certification guarantees that new trees are planted to replace the harvested trees. FSC leaves our future generations the opportunity to use the forest-related benefits.

The FSC label ensures that the forest products used are from responsibly harvested and verified sources. You can read more about FSC and its mission at www.fsc.org.

ISO 9001:2008 is a set of requirements for a business whose goal is to meet the needs and expectations of customers by efficient process management.

This quality management certificate is given to an audited system that meets the necessary requirements.

Palmatin Ltd. holds the ISO 9001:2008 certificate since 13 October 2011.

Palmatin is graded a Successful Estonian Company with an AA credit rating.

Only 7,6% of Estonian companies have achieved this rating, and only 0,6% have AAA ratings.
