Ja, maar uiteindelijk zal dit niet veel verschillen met de prijs wanneer u een eigen huis laat ontwerpen. Persoonlijke plannen uitvoeren betekent niet meteen dat het duurder is, de prijs is op basis van de materialen en productie.
Nee, de lengte van de stammen/logs is niet bepalend voor de grootte van het huis of kamers. De lengte van de materialen is slechts beperkt door de maatregelen van transport.
Hout is het beste isolatie materiaal dat de natuur te bieden heeft. Dit betekent niet dat u het meest energiezuinige huis heeft wanneer u de muren dikker maakt. Net als bij elk ander huis moet u rekening houden met de isolatie normen voor vloeren, plafonds, daken en het gebruik van de juiste ramen en deuren. Bovendien, wanneer u een goed geïnformeerde bouwer aan uw project toevoegt zal u een goed geïsoleerde energiezuinige woning hebben.
