Een houten woning heeft wel onderhoud nodig van de nieuwe bewoner. Het aanpassen van metalen trekstangen en metalen regulerende staven moet gedaan worden. Het zijn geen grote klussen en het bedrijf biedt gedetailleerde instructies voor de voltooiing van het huis.
Voor de buitenkant adviseren wij een speciaal gecertificeerd hout afdichtingsmiddel “Aidol ” HK-Lasur. Dit beschermd het hout tegen insecten, blauwe vlekken en schimmel. Voor de binnenkant van het huis raden wij u aan zoveel mogelijk natuurlijke producten te gebruiken (lijnolie, bijenwas etc).
Wij gebruiken grenen, maar wij kunnen ook vuren gebruiken als een klant dit wenst. Meer informatie onder het kopje Technologie.
Houten woningen zijn meestal goedkoper dan vergelijkbare stenen of betonnen huizen.
