We are glad to announce that from 06.02.2019 Palmatin has been issued an European Technical Assessment (ETA) for Timber frame and machined log house building kits.
Our ETA number is ETA-17/0532
This means that our construction systems have been approved by European Organisation for Technical Assessment (EOTA®) (www.eota.eu) using the scientific and technological expertise of its Members.
This means our material handling has passed the certification and as a result we have the right to sell Palmatin’s CE-labelled glued laminated timber with following strength class: GL24h, GL28h, GL32h.

This certificate gives assurance to the customer when choosing a professional log house manufacturer. The process of developing such standards was initiated by the Estonian Woodhouse Association in order to create a common guideline for manufacturers, by which the log houses are produced.
Estonian Woodhouse Association standards have been prepared in co-operation with the Association, the companies belonging to the Association, Estonian University of Life Sciences and Tallinn University of Technology.
